It's reported that August is the peak period time for electric furnace (EF) rebar mills in Taiwan to have the annual maintenance.
It's known that at least four rebar mills will suspend production for 7~15 days for the annual maintenance.
Accordingly, it's predicted that the rebar production will reduce by 40,000~50,000 tons.
Meanwhile, it's expected that the annual maintenance might help to stabilize the rebar price in the market.
